Before creating this set, I didn't think I'd ever actually want an orange trench coat. Orange is one of those colors that looks beautiful in nature, but can be a huge miss when it comes to garmets and accessories. Therefore, while I love it as an representive of autumn's rainbow, I don't usually like it on me or others. However, after seeing the coats featured above, I'm warming up to orange as a legit fashion color. I tend to go more for the darker oranges than the bright pumpkin patch colors, but orange in and of itself is a lovely color. This set was, of course, inspired by the coming of Halloween. Black and orange is such a stylish combo and I thought that pairing each coat with black accessories would be a fun way to present the Halloween theme.

For the girl that likes to make an edgy statement without being too bold this trench coat is for you. Burberry had a bit of fun with this trench coat and brought a contemporary edge to a classic design. A cocktail dress and some patent leather heels would solidify your touch-girl edgy look.

I Heart Kitty

 No matter how old I get, I'll probably always like Hello Kitty and kittens in general. They're cute and I like cute things. I used to watch Hello Kitty and friends. Heck my calendar this year is Hello Kitty. When I'm shopping, and I see Hello Kitty on something, I have to at least check it out, if not buy it. I think Burberry should make a Hello Kitty trench coat. I mean not all over Kitty, just perhaps one cute little image on a pocket or have her in the lining of the trench coat. I think I'm going to pitch it to their design team as a limited edition item. Besides Hello Kitty, I also like cat eye sunglasses, like the one the girl is wear in the set. For all you cat people out there, who adore a basket full of kittens, this set is for you.

side note: the cat in the picture third from the bottom is not hello kitty. It's Marie from Aristocats. (Love that movie)

September Hot Trench Pic of The Month

Orlando Bloom is certainly doing justice to the trench coat. I believe the one he has on is from Burberry. I'm also loving the sunglasses. He looks so cute and carefree.

IKAT Check Print Taffita Trench

While other parts of the world are experiencing summer in full, here it still feels like springs. On the upside, this crazy weather does allow me to still wear my trench coat.
I saw this trench coat a while back and at first I wondered how I was going to accessorize it but I figured keeping it simple may be best since this coat makes a statement all on it's own.

April Trench Pic Of The Month

I'm madly in love with the trench coat in this picture. I also love the way it's been accessorized. The dark belt and bag add a beautiful contrast to the lavender trench coat. The coat is a Burberry prorsum, and I'll just say right now, it's my favorite line from Burberry. I'm not sure why Emma Watson looks so grumpy (though she usually does) when she's look so fa-bu!

Burberry COTTON GABARDINE KNOTTED EPAULETTE TRENCH COAT

This is another favorite from Burberry. I absolutely adore the sleeves on this trench coat, not to mention the sweet baby pink color. It's just so stylish. If it wasn't for the price, I'd quickly order it so I could strut up and down the city streets in my own private fashion show.
