For a trench like this, I would pair it with some equally vintage accessories. A pair of black heels would look great with this coat but you could also do a rich color. Spray on some timeless perfume and you're ready to go.
It's classic, useful, beautiful, sexy, stylish, and my favorite accessory: The trench coat.

Linen Trench Coat with Hat
I saw this very vintage trench coat on the etsy shop ThingsToWearByMarie and swooned. The lining is buttery soft white satin charmeuse. You can get it in winter white stamped with reddish-orange and purpley-blue butterflies or leaves. It's your choice! Spring days would be all the more better in this trench coat. The added matching hat is sweetness. Some vintage heels, and a few colorful accessories would tie it up nicely.

Enjoy Weekends: Julia
I don't know anyone named Julia, but if I have reader by that name then consider this set for you. It's the Jimmy Choo heels that made me drop my jaw like a gaping fish. Diamonds and pearls are what I'm dreaming of. And combined, they look bella. I love the top, want the skirt and can't stop admiring over the cocktail ring. The items in this set need to jump out and get in my closet.
This weekend the forecast says rain. Thus my friend and I will be having a rainy day music party, in which jazz and classical and mowtown hits will flow through a room on mingling guests. I think pearls are great thing to listen to Chopin in.
Have a dazziling weekend loves

May Faves
Unproductive, that’s the best way for me to describe May. I had so much to do that I just decided to do nothing at all. Every have that.?You look around and realize you’re so overwhelmed that you don’t know where to start. Well, while looking around and being unproductive I found a few things that I love this month.
1. Elizabeth Grant’s Advanced Age Defense Gentle Cleanser: I posted a full review of this product already but I wanted to it mention again in this faves list. My skin still feels great and I hope it stays like this all summer. This cleanser makes my top list of facial cleansers for it’s incredible pore refining ability.
2.O.P.I Katy Perry nail polish collection: Honestly, I don’t know when this collection came out. I found it in my house (bought by my sister) put it on and fell in love. The colors are fantastically pop culture. Teenage dream, a parade of pink sparkles, shines beautifully. Mind you, it takes ages to get off. Not like the movies another color I adored looks out-of-this-world. I normally don’t pay attention to celebrity inspired collections but O.P.I did a great job with this one
3. Coloring: Feeling stressed? Invite your 5 year old self out to play and color. I don’t mean getting your Picasso on, I mean using crayons and fat markers and coloring in fun shapes and zoo animals. Don’t worry about staying in the lines, just draw out the stress and make a rainbow. Dollar stores have all sorts of coloring books to have fun with and I’ll be doing it a lot more often!

Beauty Dayz- Elizabeth Grant Biocollasis Complex Advanced Cellular Age Defense Gentle Cleanser Review
I got a chance to try Elizabeth Grant’s advanced cellular age defense gentle cleanser, via loose button’s luxe box. Now, being in my 20’s I have to admit advanced age defense isn’t on my priority list when it comes to skin care. However, when one is given an expensive beauty product that one would never consider buying, one tries it. After multiple uses here is my list of pros and cons regarding this cleanser.
Pro
1. Pore Refining: For a while I have been looking for a product that seriously reduces my pores because when your pores look smaller your skin looks healthier and younger. I tried many and for the most part they were good. At least I thought they were good, until I tried Elizabeth Grant’s cleanser. This cleanser refined my pores, like no other product I’ve tried so far. The smooth surface of my skin is kind of addicting to touch. I mean it. I want people to touch my face now. I’ve had problems with the skin, especially on my cheeks in terms of smoothness and softness and for the first time in about 2 years my cheeks, entire face, feels touchable.
2. Cleans well: I should have mentioned that the first time I used the cleaner my face was very dirty. I had not washed it well in days and it felt and looked awful. With some skepticism, I opted for Elizabeth Grant’s cleanser to clean my face and surprisingly, it works great. I felt the grime on my face disappear without any harsh scrubbing. Which bring me to another pro. It is gentle. My face was never irritated using this cleanser.
3. No unpleasant smell. This cleanser does not have much of a smell and the little that it does have doesn’t smell unpleasant. It has the scent of shampoo in my opinion, not harsh just clean.
Con
Expensive: The biggest con I found with this product is the price. Priced at $30 on her website, this isn’t a product I could regularly afford to own and use. Though you may only need a little, I found myself sometimes using a little more to get a good clean, which means this high end product might not last that long for one like me. It is cheaper on Amazon, however.
4/5 is what I give this cleanser because it works. My skin feels and looks great but at its current price I can’t give it a 5 because it’s just not affordable.

Enjoy Weekends: Dr Goodyear
She breezed in. Some women do. And Dr. Goodyear, with her incredible style, breezed into my room to examine me. While she examined me, I looked her over: her shoes, her cardigan, her bits of accessories and thought, I want to feature you!
For the entire period that she worked the floor she came in with another great fashion assortment and each day I anticipated what she would be wearing. Never was there a time of disappointment. I wanted everything she wore; her style fit my taste to a tee. Turns out Dr. Goodyear had an appetite for fashion (that shows in her fine taste of dressing) that led her to read beauty blogs, including this one!
Finding a fashionista in a hospital ward is rare and Dr. Goodyear very much inspired me. I've seen many doctors in my time, and though they try, most stick to a professional demeanor but Dr. Goodyear reminded me that you can have a bit of fun with your style no matter where you are. I'm not saying she looked wild, no, she was always sophisticated. But instead of black loafers (that I see on so many medical professionals) she wore cute sparkly flats. She always looked trendy and up to date without looking out of place in her professional field, proving that she was truly a style connoisseur. She even modeled a trench coat for me, that unfortunately my camera did not do justice to.
For fun, and as thank you for being such a kind doctor, I decided to make this "Enjoy Weekends" post for her. Now, the above items are not necessarily things she wore or would wear. They are simply things that remind me of her.
I hope all of you are well, and not in need of medical treatment. But just in case you are suffering, I'm sure the doctor would prescribe a fashion remedy.
Have a healthy weekend.

May Luxe Box Unboxing Video
Loose Button's luxe boxes are getting better with each month. This month's put a big grin on my face, but I'll let you watch the video to see why.
For those who are unfamiliar, luxe box is a box of samples that you can purchase for 9.95 (shipping is free) from the Loose Button's website.
I love this sample company for their variety and brand quality choice. Each month, I'm surprised with a luxury beauty product that without the luxe box I wouldn't have the opportunity to use or would be oblivious to the beauty product company.
Check out the video to see the types of products they send and checkout my other videos to see what else Loose Buttons has been sending my way.

April Faves
I am still in the hospital and am starting to wonder when I'll be getting out to enjoy May. The quiet (and not so quiet) time in here really allows one to think and reflect. It's given me some time to think about some of the things that made April an enjoyable month.
As a note, because I am in the hospital, this post will be updated with photos once I return home.I wanted to get this post to you lovelies before May ended.
1. Shirley Temple.
Not all stylish things are made to be worn. Often, style can be defined as a moment, like having ones first sip of a sweet Shirley Temple virgin cocktail. The drink was created for the queen of cuties Shirley Temple when a bar tender noticed she wasn't able to drink like her adult coworkers when they attended premiers and other glamorous events. The non-alcoholic drink is made with two parts ginger ale, one part orange juice, a splash of grenadine and garnished with a maraschino cherry. I'd like to point out that mine had not one but two cherries. Not that it matters since I don't like that particular cherry. But I do adore the drink! It wasn't at all what I expected, and the next time I am in the restaurant that serves it, I'm going to live the whole experience over again.
2. Sumptuous Bold and Volume Lifting Mascara by Estee Lauder
March's luxe box came with a sample of Sumptuous Bold and Volume Lifting Mascara by Estee Lauder
giving me the opportunity to try this high end beauty product. I can say with strong affirmation and confidence that it gives me lush lashes. The wand is designed to afford you close proximity to the root, letting you lengthen and lift the lashes from root to tip. So far, it has never been messy, gloppy, or sticky. It always go smooth and with no effort. It is also one of the few mascaras that does not irritate my eyes. My lashes always looked thick, and full without looking overdone. It is the best mascara I have tried in a long time and if it wasn't for the price (32.00 and up depending on where you get it) I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy it.
3. Me Too flats
I am one of those sad shoe shoppers whose narrow feet keep them to the limited, boring, shoe stores. These stores are often so limited that I have been on a 3 year long hunt for decent summer flats. Yes folks, 3 years! 3 years of, "these are cute, but will they fit, almost, oh wait, too big, maybe with insoles, still no good, UGH!"
However, finally I have a pretty pair of flats that fit and look great! They were over my budget but you really can't put a price on this kind of comfort. In fact, Me Too shoes has such a great selection of shoes for those with narrow feet that I may have found my new favorite shoe brand.

April Luxe Box Unboxing
I apologize for the lack of posts and for this dull sloppy one. I am currently in the hospital (as I write this) and thought I should at least create a quick post for my wonderful readers. I just hope I haven't posted this already. In this video, I unbox April's luxe box and, I say several times, it was very exciting. April's box not only had some wonderful products but a portion of the purchase was donated to the Canadian Cancer society.
